First things first: We work hard. But we also recognise that you need sufficient leisure time to recharge your batteries. That is why excessively long working hours and weekend work are the exception rather than the rule at CMS.
Full-time / part-time models
We would like to take you on full-time as a lawyer. However, it is also important to us that
you can combine your career at CMS Hasche Sigle with a family and private life. We are convinced
that both aspects are crucial in attracting the best people.
CMS Hasche Sigle encourages part-time working in specific circumstances. Because project-based client mandates make individual arrangements essential, we would discuss this with you on an individual basis.
Part-time partnership is also a realistic option at CMS. It is perfectly possible to combine
maternity, partnership status, and part-time work at CMS. We are happy to put you in touch with one
of our part-time partners.
Clerkships can also be arranged to accommodate different requirements and to fit in with
workgroup-based training.
Permanent positions / fixed-term contracts / freelance collaboration
Not yet looking to become an associate or clerk; planning to do a PhD or already started one?
Then you can work with us as a researcher or PhD student during gaps in your studies or while
completing your thesis, for example. This can take the form of a (fixed-term) contract or be on a
freelance basis.
