The employment criteria at CMS Hasche Sigle are demanding but straightforward: you will be ambitious and have consolidated your outstanding legal training with an honours degree. Your general level of education is good and you have a strong command of English.

An LL.M gained abroad is a welcome additional qualification but is not an entry requirement. A doctorate is also not essential. Ultimately, it is not grades and titles that matter – what is important is how you fit in with our team as a person.

For us, this means that in addition to legal skills you are able to convince us of your commitment, team-oriented approach and business mindset. You will also possess excellent communication skills, engage with your environment, take responsibility for mistakes and respond well to criticism. Being able to see something through to the end is also imperative.

There is little variation in salary among the large law firms. Designed to strike the right balance between performance and reward, our salaries are in line with the industry standard and will be regularly adjusted during your time as an associate.
